Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog! This is the first article, so let’s talk backstory, what you can expect, ways you can support and what the future holds for Slow Life Fast Bike.
Some background
My Slow Life Fast Bike story actually began in 2021. Mr Slow Life and I felt we needed change and adventure, and decided to sell everything and embark on our full time RV journey. The pandemic offered a means to work from home whilst travelling, at a time when we started riding motorcycles. By the start of 2023 we were hooked on track days and decided to focus our travels on visiting as many race tracks as possible. We thought about a national park tour, however the speed limits aren’t quite the same as tracks.
For 2024 my goals are to continue chasing track days and start amateur motorcycle racing! And I want to document my journey as it unfolds – that’s where this blog comes in!
What you can expect
I’m documenting my journey on YouTube, where I share my RV life and motorcycle passion; everything from dirt biking to track days, travel adventures, DIY projects, and all the unexpected drama along the way.
In conjunction with my YouTube and other socials, I will share additional information in the form of written posts. Some articles will accompany my Youtube videos, while others will be a means to share insights, information or progress reports.
Aside from my desire to document all this for myself, I have two other goals with this project:
- Encourage others to embrace new experiences at any stage in their life.
- Give back to the motorcycle and RV community by sharing my experiences.
